How do I claim continuing education credits/hours?

ProTrainings offers Continuing Education for many of our courses!

If taking a blended or fully online course, you can choose the entity you want to submit credits to prior to starting your course.

We currently offer course CEs to many state and national agencies. Only a small number of these agencies are currently shown in this section. We will be adding more in the next year. Please follow these next steps to begin claiming your credits:

  • STEP 1 - Choose your course from our course library.
  • STEP 2 - Click on "Start Your Course Now" or "Begin Training".
  • STEP 3 - When you see the webpage below, click on "Start Training for CE Credit"

  • STEP 4 - Choose one of the entities you would like to claim your CE credits through.

  • STEP 5 - Follow the steps for your chosen organization

CAPCE and AGD/PACE Students will be required to fill out a form prior to the start of the course. Don't skip this step, as you will not be able to go back to this form once you start your training. If you miss this opportunity, click here for manual reporting steps.

ACCME, ANCC, ACPE, and ADA CERP Students will receive an email after the course is completed (and paid) that will tell you the claim steps. Watch for this email, or you can click on the link shown in your training dashboard and be redirected to CME University to fill out the form and immediately receive confirmation of your submit your credits.

Due to these entities' specific submittal requirements, they will not accept a ProTrainings CEU Statement to claim CE credits. Instead, you must use one of the processes above to claim your credits. Please reach out to us if you were unable to get through all the steps.

If you do not see (in our current options) the entity that you would like to claim credits through, you can reach out to our Compliance team to find out more information on those, or you can follow these directions to obtain a ProTrainings CEU Statement or wallet certification and hand that into your receiving board. It will state your course with the 'X' number of CE units/hours allowed.

Note:  Even  if your CEs are submitted properly, these CE entities, and other boards could accept the courses for fewer hours than your statement shows, or even be rejected by your state department. For these few instances, this does not mean that submitting the CEs isn't worthwhile. The credits you submit through these national agencies are still connected to the accrediting agency and are recorded for your professional education and development. You can always check with the specific continuing education department within your state and occupation for more information.
