ProTrainings Instructor Precautions During COVID-19 Outbreak

Dear ProTrainings Instructors,

I'm writing to let you know that we are resuming issuing cards for instructor-led training where you have adapted your course for a virtual classroom or where you can safely teach in a physical classroom.

When you are ready to reactivate your account, simply log into your instructor dashboard. There you will be prompted to approve the Instructor Subscription Terms of Service and activate your account.

You will not be charged when you reactivate.

In fact, as we promised when we stopped issuing ProTrainings cards for classroom courses, we are crediting instructors on a monthly subscription with one month free. Your next subscription payment will be a month after reactivation, as noted in your dashboard when you log in to reactivate.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we've all adapted to unforeseen changes these past several weeks.

Very truly yours,

Ken Trupke, President
ProTrainings LLC

P.S. We know that transitioning to virtual classes or teaching under social-distancing regulations can be a challenge. Look for emails from us soon with our best tips and tricks for navigating this new landscape.

Also, be sure to join the ProTrainings Instructor Community on Facebook to share your ideas.

Dear ProTrainings Instructors,

With the world continuing to respond to the spread of COVID-19, we are making changes to protect you, our ProTrainings instructor network and the professionals you serve during this unprecedented time.

As leaders in the health and safety training industry, we see it as our responsibility to exemplify the life-saving measures that need to be taken to “flatten the curve” and give our healthcare system and communities the best fighting chance. So, effective March 21, 2020, we will suspend issuing ProTrainings cards for classroom courses and in-person evaluations. We strongly encourage you to not host in-person classes at this time.

We recognize that suspending classroom courses affects your livelihood as an instructor. On the other hand, your wellness and the wellness of your community is also greatly and immediately important.

To help support you at this time, we also are pausing all instructor subscription payments and crediting an additional month to your account. And although you will not be conducting classroom training, we are offering commissions when you refer your students to complete their coursework online or through our SUMO virtual skill evaluation program. To access this and learn more about the program, you can navigate to the “Partner” tab in your ProTrainings dashboard.

Additionally, we are strongly recommending that employers and regulatory agencies consider allowing a 120-day extension beyond the printed expiration for certifications expiring between March 1 and April 30, 2020.

You can view our full Leadership Letter here. (04/09/2020)

We previously issued a statement calling for a 60-day extension. You can view that letter here. (03/19/2020)

We do not know how long we, as a nation, will be practicing social distancing and quarantines. Our hope is to return to business as usual as quickly as possible.  In the meantime, our commitment to you is to stay highly communicative as we collectively navigate this pandemic.

Very truly yours,

Ken Trupke, President
Protrainings LLC
