Detailed Instructions for Instructors to Earn Commissions as Affiliates

If you haven't already signed up to become an affiliate, you can learn how to enroll here and more about the program here.

Once you are signed up to be an affiliate and you are also a ProTrainings Certified Instructor, you have 2 options for adding students for commission-based training.

The first one, you create an account for them, and the second option is to have them sign up directly on the site using your discount link or code:

1. When you sign up a new "online or blended" student, use this path:
> Instructor or Admin dashboard
> Students
> Add New Student
> Fill out their information (make their username their email)
> Create a common password that you use for every new student (when they sign in, they will be required to change that)
> Select from the optional dropdowns (only if you have companies or groups created already that you want to associate them with)
> Note the statement in yellow... then click on "Add Student"

*Make sure to provide them with their username and password to sign in. Once an account is created this way, all student-level online courses they take (and pay for) will count towards affiliate $$ in your Partner Dashboard.

The other way to have them sign up is to send them to www.protrainings.com and sign up new. The only thing with this option, is that they must add a "corporate or referral code." If they don't do that, you will not receive affiliate commissions from their course purchases.

2. When a student signs up with your Discount code, have them follow these steps:
> Go to www.protrainings.com
> Sign up as normal
> Click on the red link to add the corporate or referral code (it will open dropdown)
> Add your code (if you need help finding, it let us know)
> Click "Begin Training"

Once signed up, they can choose their course and you will obtain affiliate commissions for any of the courses they take online. This discount link is connected to the student as long as they sign in under the same account, you will receive affiliate commissions for the courses they complete online. This includes all of our student-level courses.
